Densu River – One of Ghana’s major rivers, originating from the Atiwa Range and flowing through Nsawam; vital for agriculture and water supply.
Pompon River – A tributary of the Densu, winding through the southern section of the district.
Mensaman Stream – Feeds the Mensaman Waterfalls, located near Nsawam.
Sarebu – A small seasonal stream in the lowland areas of Aburi.
Odusum Lake (Aburi) – Known for its spiritual significance and wildlife including crocodiles and turtles; surrounded by green groves believed to have healing powers.
Amoakoh Pond (near Pakro) – A sacred pond used in traditional rituals.
Boade Waterfall Pool – A natural basin collecting water from the Boade Falls, home to crabs and mudfish.
Akuapem Ridge – Forms the backbone of the district, rising to over 370 meters at Aburi with views of Accra and Tema.
Nyanao Hills (Sakyikrom) – Historical stronghold of the Akwamu, once used as a strategic lookout.
Oboadaka Rock Ridge – Location of the famous "Stone Box" rock formation, regarded as sacred.
Aburi Hills – The most prominent of the Akuapem range, home to gardens, eco-lodges, and spiritual groves.
Oboguateng (Kobiso) – A rock formation shaped like a sheep, worshipped as a symbol of fertility and protection.
Oboadaka Shrine – Sacred site located within a grove housing four stacked coffin-shaped rocks, associated with ancestral spirits.
Tutufo Deity – Honoured in Aburi and linked to protection and justice among the Agona clan.
Asuo Nyame – A river god believed to reside in the upper tributaries of the Densu.
Ntoa – A fertility deity worshipped by traditionalists in the Fotobi area.
